VPF aims to develop ways and means through which the basic sustainable development sensibilities of the people remain active and dynamic. Our primary goal is to improve public awareness. To this end Vishwa Parivar Foundation creates expertise in the field of non-formal education, adult education, adolescence training, environmental education and many other activities. We create expertise not only in the field, but also develop innovative programmes and test them for their validity and effectiveness.
VPF believes that development policy and programmes must be based on an unconditioned recognition of the oneness of humankind, a commitment to justice as the organizing principle of society, and a determination to exploit to the utmost the possibilities that a systematic dialogue between the scientific and religious genius of the race can bring to the building of human capacity.

We use our professional knowledge to generate equity and participation for women, by creating awareness amongst rural women about the important role they play in family and socially as well as their active involvement in the crucial decision making processes.

VPF as an organizational approach, where we help to get organize into community and issue oriented groups. Ours is a developmental approach, in which we initiate processes, make linkages and set in motion problem solving action.

VPF has always strived to play a lead role in creating an awareness of the need to integrate communication in development programmes, creating model programmes to further degrees of excellence and play a wider role of providing leadership in the field, in the region. Recognizing the enormity of the challenge of health education in the country like India , activities have been rooted in and guided by certain basic strategies for maximization of their quality, effectiveness and impact.
